I think it has to be the memories that remain when experiences are over. No one is 100% objective about the things they experience. We all view life through some filter or another, be it religion, politics, upbringing, rebellion, etc. Eyewitness accounts to crimes prove that. Everyone has a slightly different interpretation of the events. I think it may be impossible to ever know "actual events." And after all, even though memory is often faulty, it is the MEMORY of an event that affects how that event manifests in our lives. The memory influences existence and behavior much more than concrete facts ever could.

The memories are what get me smiling out of the blue. The actual experience is there and gone, but those damn memories can last a lifetime. Good or bad

I think that it really depends on the experiences.
I know that some things that Happen, you would not take a million dollars for the experience, and others, you would not give ten dollars for the Memories..
It is something like a bad relationship. Ya just do not want to repeat it.
You have a nice evening.

u cannot have memories whit out having had experiences but if u were not able to remember any of your experiences then your experiences are worthless . so my answer would be that they are equal in importance and that it is impossible to choose one over the other since one doesn't exist whit out the other and the other is worthless whit out memories .

I'd take the actual experiences first and foremost. You can't have the memories without them first..........(^!^)
