I'm trying to edit this computer game on my computer with a hex editor, using this games guide to do it. So far everything is going good. But, I cannot find the offset for a specific item. The guide says the offset is 00c8. I cannot find that offset in the folder that I need to be in. I know c8 is the hexidecimal for 200, so I tried 200, but it did not work. My husband got a job offer in Afghanistan doing plumbing he will be gone for 3 mts to a yr if he is there for just the 3 mts it pays 24,000 dollars if he is there for a yr its a lot more than that not sure of exact figures but we would be able to get our house paid for and have a lot left over do you think this is a good idea if not why....... he wants to go and has already got his passport but he don't leave until 7/10 so its not to late we have 4 kids one of them only 4 will she forget about him and how can i stop this from happening i thought about getting him on video camera so i can play it for her but someone said she would miss him a lot more if i do this I just don't know what to do any advice please would be helpful in making me feel better about this.
