if i downloaded an attachment photo from email, viewed the photo and then closed the window, is that photo still on my harddrive? is so where?

If you downloaded, then yes. If you just opened it, then no..it would just get stored in your temp folder until you view it then it would get deleted.

You should go back to the attachment, try and download it again and see your destination folder. Its in there.

Yes, it's still there. It's wherever you downloaded it. Where you downloaded it would depend on what you use for an email program. Use Windows Explorer's "search" function to find it.

yes it's on your hard drive . in Temporary Internet Files folder in this add :
"the drive you installed your windows xp" \Documents and Settings\"your user Account Name"\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
remember that this folders are hidden .
and you can delete this files form :
internet explorer -> tools -> internet option ->Temporary Internet Files -> delete file ( remember to tik the question " delete offline files" and just have one ie page open . not more !)

yes... they must be there...

jus chek where your download files go.. .. if u dont know.. jus try downloading sumthing and see where it asks u to save them... the rest wud be in tht folder too :)
