i am going to understand your element of view. i became married to a drug addict and alcoholic and at the same time as stuck in that situation I very frequently felt the way you experience. Now i'm out of that residing hell, I easily haven't any further some thing yet empathy for alcoholics and drug addicts, a lot so as that i'm doing a counselling degree so as that i will with somewhat of success help. no one includes this earth desirous to be an addict

I used to be so hardened to this. I always thought you choose what you want to do in life. No excuses. I recently lost my brother and though I have not turned to drugs I can see why someone would hurt so bad they would do that. The only thing that has stopped me is my child. I think each situation is special and I now can look at other people and ask "why are they doing this, what has happened to them?" Instead of assuming the worst like they are just no good.

Drug addiction should not be a defense for an offense. They should be pity and charged.

i am a drug addict . hard core. although i need help. i only need help.noone can help me but me.i'm 47 and been partyin for lets say 35 years.except for the drugs (many)everything else i put in my body is good.there for i can probably outrun, outjump ,outfight,most anybody.oh:and i've worked hard all my life,without stealing. as usual you decide.

They should be charged, and as part of their sentence, offered treatment. If they refuse treatment, they get no sympathy what-so-ever.

Well my opinio is respect. I respect the fact that they chosse to do drugs... But I will not give them any sympathy.

it should be treated with sympathy becoz a person cant just stop using it at once we should take less.less.....less...... till u finnaly stop it!
