I recently had a new roof installed. I also had a ridge and soffit vents installed. The attic has been ventilated with gable vents . I have encountered two theorys about the simultaneous venting with ridge and gable vents. Some roofers claim that they negate the functions of each and insist that I block the gable vents to allow the new ridge vent to work properly. Others say they can work fine together and in fact it is a plus to have both kinds. Shall I block the gable vents?
Is there a testing procedure that can be used to check the proper ventilation setup?

Hair Help?

Whenever i straighten my hair at home the ends of my hair at the top of my head go rough and doesnt look good. This is why i dont like straightening it. But when i go to the hair dressers and get it straightened there the ends of my hair are smooth and not rough.
How could I get this effect at home by using a hair straightener or any other products?

the United States is hated BUT?

The United States is hated soooo much, but why? We give aide to countries that hate us, why???? Everyone says the war is about oil but what about the money we have spent in this war.

This war is costing us billion of dollars a month. Which will have to be PAID BACK BY THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!

In my opinion we should cut off all aid to the countries that hate us. Look there are little children that go hungry in our own country. WHAT GIVES???

leaving me for another girl?

my boyfriend is a lifeguard. and last night he got a ride home from one of the girl lifeguards. he told me that she was flirting with him. and i said i was alright about it because i didnt want to seem like a bad girlfriend. however im not going to be able to see him for about two weeks because he has to work everyday. i just dont want him to dump me because of this other girl he just met. i would feel terrible because we have been going out for two months. please tell me ways i can make sure my boyfriend doesnt leave me for another girl.
