my boyfriend is a lifeguard. and last night he got a ride home from one of the girl lifeguards. he told me that she was flirting with him. and i said i was alright about it because i didnt want to seem like a bad girlfriend. however im not going to be able to see him for about two weeks because he has to work everyday. i just dont want him to dump me because of this other girl he just met. i would feel terrible because we have been going out for two months. please tell me ways i can make sure my boyfriend doesnt leave me for another girl.

You can't. Each person has to make and be responsible for their own decisions. However, DON'T show the jealousy you are feeling now. If he was honest enough to tell you, 1)he probably isn't interested and 2) that would just push him to her. The important thing to remember is that he was honest with you!! (and therefore deserves your trust, he has earned it)

I'm sorry to tell you this but if he wants to he will, if he doesn't want to, he wont. You have no control over that.
All you can do is be a good girlfriend and try not to act desperate or clingy.

You don't sound very secure about this relationship. How old are you??? If something happens with him and the other person, maybe you haven't really lost anything.

Sorry but it sounds to me like he's already with her or planning to be shortly. There's no way to prevent this. Hopefully you won't be hurt too much and be prepared for it coming.........

Sorry to say you really can't stop it from happening; but if you communicate your feelings it will strengthen it; only if he communicates back to you his feelings.
