Today I went to the doctor cause I have been getting alot of acne on my legs and all she told me was that it is spider bites and that I need to go home and vacuum my bedroom real well. I vacuum my house alot and I am postive there are no spiders in it and these are not spider bites. Anyone have any help for me.

I was wondering if there are other means beside going to graduate school to getting your ph.d? For example, if I were to right a thesis outside university and submit it to for example the International Mathematics Union and I've presented a good theory. Will the university be impressed and reward me a doctorate degree for my achievements? I'm not saying I'm a genius or anything like that I was just curious, if theres another way to get a ph.d besides going through graduate school. Thanks

I am a pretty smart person but I have been acting real dumb in this situation. I was dating this female for four year. I have ALOT of love for her. Do to alot of drama we figured if we would do better if we broke up and served god. We did it for about 7 months and things were good. We were both going to church and working on submitting ourselves to god. I started talking to this guy and I really liked him. At the time we were still living together because I could not afford to move out. But she got really jealous about me talking to this guy. Through the pain she started dating other women. She felt that god was not helping her. I just recently decided to move out. But before I left I realized that I still loved her. She did not want me back I came to terms with it and we figured we could still be freinds. We had an argument one night before I left and I told her I cheated on her a year before we broke it off for the lord. She was hurt. But we still said we would stay

In the application, it says I should "represent" myself -- in other words, this letter (only 400 words) should reveal who I am and what I'm about). And yet, I think I should sound a little "academic". I don't have a lot of concrete stuff to say (ie, I haven't won any prizes or anything...).

Does anyone know what really impresses the univerities? What should I say? Perhaps more importantly, HOW should I say it?

i have a bet running with a friend about logic. he thinks that no fact can be disproved with consistant logic. i think it can. leaving the bet aside for a moment can anyone prove logicaly that 2+2 dose not = 4?
