I would like to know, who inspires you to live your life more, to dream and accomplish more, who continually do/did great things for you and/or mankind?
This person maybe famous, alive, dead, unknown, close to only you, a revoultionist, rich, poor, a leader, an artist, a teacher, humble or boastful.

Don't firms that are UK registered have to pay corporation tax on profits to the UK government. Aren't tax revenues therefore affected when a UK firm is taken over/merged into a foreign firm?Isn't it reasonable to assume directors of foreign firms would be loyal to their roots and would reduce investment in/close down UK sites first if times got tough (especially since employment law is more favourable to them here than elsewhere in EU)?
Shouldn't we feel a loss of national pride or status when for example (one of many) the long-standing major gateways to the UK: Gatwick, Heathrow & Stansted airports are poised to be sold to a Spanish firm? I can't see the French allowing that to happen in France.

SHe called him for months afterwards, often. I am divorcing her anyway but I wanted to know from women if that even makes sence. That is I can't think of why she would talk to him and text him for months if she didn't continue having sex with him. She claims she didn't, I think it's another lie. ALso she was talking and texting with a younger man (different guy) that she says she never slept with but liked the attention. Sounds like a bunch of bs to me, what do you think?

I celebrate Christmas...........but because it isn't celebrated by everyone..............we can no longer say Merry Christmas. Now it has to be Season's Greetings.

It's not Christmas vacation, it's Winter Break. Isn't it amazing how this winter break ALWAYS occurs over the Christmas holiday?

We've gone so far the other way, bent over backwards to not offend anyone, that I am now being offended. But it seems that no one has a problem with that. This says it all!

IMMIGRANTS,
NOT AMERICANS,
MUST ADAPT.
I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we
are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11,
we have experienced a surge
in patriotism by the majority
of Americans. However...... the dust from the attacks had
barely settled when the "politically correct! " crowd began complaining about
the possibility that our patriotism was offending others.

I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to ! America .
Our population is almost entirely made up of descendants of immigrants.
However, there
are a few things that those
who have recently come to
our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand.
This idea of America being a
multicultural community
has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Americans......
we have our own culture, our
own society, our own language and our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.


We speak ENGLISH , not Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language.
Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!

"In God We Trust" is our national motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan.. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women.......on Christian principles.............
founded this nation..... and this is clearly documented.
It is certainly appropriate to display it
on the walls of our schools.
If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as
your new home.........because
God is part of our culture.

If Stars and Stripes offend you, or
you don't like Uncle Sam, then you
should seriously consider a move
to another part of this planet.
We
are happy with our culture and have
no desire to change, and we really
don't care how you did things where
you came from.
This is
OUR COUNTRY,
our land, and our lifestyle.
Our First Amendment gives every citizen the
right to express his opinion and we
will allow you every opportunity to do so!
But once you are done complaining....... whining...... and griping....... about our flag.......
our pledge...... our national motto........or our
way of life....I highly encourage you to
take advantage of one other Great American Freedom.......

I cant physically feel a lump with my hand but it feels like one is there all the time. It kinda feels like I have a neclace on too tight or like I have food stuck in my throught. You know how when you get food stuck and you take a drink it goes away, well mine does but as soon as I stop drinking its there. Drinking and eating make it better but as soon as I stop it comes back. My throat isnt swollen or red and its not sore or scratchy it just basically feels like pressure in my throught like food is stuck or I have something on too tight around my neck. Its typically a little better in the mornings and is worse by the afternoon. Has anyone ever had this before and find out what it is?

I can't get my head around it. All the time I hear people moaning about The English ,and all the nasty things our ancestors did , centuries ago to people and therefore, those people hate us. How comes it does not stop them from wanting to come and live amongst us?

Yesterday on the radio, there was a West Indian gentleman, Jamaican born discussing who he would be supporting in the World Cup. He lives in London and has done for 45 years but said he will be supporting Trinidad and Tobago over England, and WHEN they go, he will switch to Brazil????

What is that all about? He has spent most of his life in England and is house and employed here, been fed and educated here.

Is it just me that is offended by these sort of people in England, and Britain for that matter?
