I'd like to plan a trip for next year- I don't want to have to deal with horrible traffic or nightmare parking shortages, so please consider these factors in your answer. Anywhere in the US is OK. Fireworks + music or a festival or something would be a plus. Thanks for your suggestions!!

I live in SWFL and other than the great year round weather....hate it, it's like being dropped into the 90s, houses seem to be twice as much as the Houston area.....my husband has an awesome job here but I can transfer to Houston....just want to know if the government structure is better, cost of living etc. It seems as if the housing market in Houston has maintained an even level for years now, unlike the ridiculous costs here, everything is on a quarter or less of an acre. I even hear that the food is much cheaper in Texas. Hey all, let me know your thoughts, thanks!!!!

ok... i happen to love the city even though i live on the other side of the state... im a pittsburgher/w. pennsylvanian at heart and i notice alot of people have a negative image of it and that the people are hicks... just thinking about it bc a local radio was making fun of them earlier... i kno pittburghers have an accent... but just curious... what do u think?!
