You won't find it flying on Govt. buildings in Florida but you'll find it proudly displayed on every good ole boy's pickup truck. It's not a racial issue, either - they display it as a matter of southern pride - which means, drinking beer, spitting chewing tobacco, driving their jacked up pickups through mud holes, wearing cowboy boots and hats and Wrangler jeans, sitting around a campfire and bs'ing on a Friday night, hunting, fishing, and helping people out. You can bet if you break down on the side of the road, and a pickup truck with a rebel flag in the window spots you, they'll stop and get you up and running.

Give me a break, Bearkat. I'm a Texan too, and if you want to look at the six flags over Texas, go to the theme park. Texas is no longer under any of those flags other than the American flag. We are part of America. The Confederate flag is a symbol of treason, so flying it is supporting treason. The Confederacy killed more Americans than Al Qaida. Think about it.

Most of the former Confederate States still fly it in front of their capital as a tribute to their history.

Texas definitely i don't know about the rest but i'm sure some deep south states still do. maybe louisiana? haha i had a lady from georgia tell me the other day that texas was not a real southern state. ha! she was a little wacky i believe.
