Ok Beto....I think I know what you are really wondering....if you dont have any legal documents like a green card or a valid state ID or valid USA driver license then yes, you might want a passport on hand. There has been instances where the migra is on hand at bus stations and right now it is a little tricky at airports and you will need to show ID as well that is ID from the USA.

No, you do not need a passport to go from Los Angeles to Utah because you are not leaving the country. Depending on your age and what method of transportation you are using (ex: airplane, train, bus), you may need a picture ID.

No, you will not need a passport to stay in the US. ANYWHERE in the US. And don't use all caps when asking a question! You also do not (at this time) need a passport to travel to Canada or Mexico!

No, you only need a passport when traveling somewhere outside the U.S. I.E. Italy or some other country. It is perfectly legal to travel the U.S. no passports required.

If you need a passport by tomorrow morning you're out of luck.
NO you do not need it for that trip. Only when leaving the country. If you do apply for it expect it to take anywhere between two weeks and three months to arrive.
