Has anyone visited Mount Diablo State Park, CA..? If so, can you provide me the activities, attractions etc. details..? We are planning to visit the park on Dec 31. Is there any snow probability in winter..? Do we have to carry snow chains..? What is the best accommodation option available nearby to stay overnight..? Any details are welcome. If you have taken any park photos, can you pls provide the link..?

My 16 year old daughter has recently come back into my life. I found out she has never been to the ocean, so this Spring or Summer I want to take her to the beach.

Would prefer East Coast and I don't have a huge amount of money to spend. Would prefer somewhere with something to do other than sit on the beach.
