Hi, I'm hitting Lake Tahoe Northstar this Thanksgivings for a little retreat. Since it is a pretty big lake, I am just wondering along the shores of the Lake that if there are any good places/high points/shores, etc suitable for a good sunrise watching spot, with you family and date what not. Any comment would be helpful! Thanks in advance.

I see the natural disasters that happened along the Gulf coast; the tornado's in the mid west and the earthquakes along the California Coast along with the wild fires. Knowing that no place is perfect, I'd like to find a nice place to settle down now that my family is grown. (Away from the snow)

I just moved from kentucky to colorado springs, and no one here has an accent and everyone makes fun of me for my southern accent. it is so annoying! it's not like i can move from somewhere i lived my whole life and just get rid of it like that! any tips would be welcome....
