I grew up in Chattanooga and now I live in Oklahoma. I plan on going there to visit my parents in November during Thanksgiving and it will take about 14 hours and 14 minutes. The distance from Altus, OK to chattanooga is about 941 miles. I hope to make it all in one day, but may end up stopping in Arkansas.
When I used to live in Charleston, SC it took me about 7 hours. I normally took a left at columbia and headed towards Atlanta and then went North from there. I think it was about 430 miles.

i've got been to Chattanooga TN from Toccoa GA, it extremely is the 0.33 go out interior GA on I-80 5 from SC. The quickest way fairly is to flow I-80 5 to I-seventy 5, (do no longer take I-285), to Chattanooga. there is yet otherwise to flow from Toccoa, traveling by one small city after yet another on regularly 2-lane roads. regardless of the undeniable fact that that's shorter, it takes longer than going the throughway. i'm emailing your question to my daughter who is going very many times from Toccoa to Nashville which includes Chattanooga.
