How long does it take to travel from florida to boston by (i) Amtrak or (ii) flight?

FLA. 2 BOS. by Amtrak 22 hours by plane 4 hours and trains sound all nice and are for about 2 hours but then it gets real old

3 and a half hour flight

probably about $150 round trip if you're a good internet airline shopper.

Train is just foolish.

TF Green is the Providence airport, and is only an hour from boston by car. It's a good back up if you're not finding the flights you need at logan airport in boston.

I would not even think about taking a train that far you should consider flying.
