We live in Greenwich in London, and want to go to the beach on Saturday with our 1 yr old daughter... what is the closest/best beach to go to?

Hi going to see Prince again and staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Docklands and was wondering how to get to the o2 Dome is there a tube station nearby without to much hassle to get there or I think I saw something about a clipper service accross the Thames but dont know how far away from my hotel it is can anyone help please x

I'm going to Scotland in September to study for a year. I'm arriving in Glasgow via Dublin and have heard that this can be problematic as immigration officers aren't usually present in Dublin to stamp passports. My question is, if I already have entry clearance prior to traveling but don't get some sort of stamp upon entering the UK, am I going to be booted out after 3 months?

I will be in London from the US for a week this month. I plan mostly on site seeing (which I presume would be zone 1). I am a 30 year old student with my university ID. I'm going to the theatre on Thursday evening near Oxford Circus tube. (London Palladium)
It is right at the end of the A40 which is very convenient for us to drive in on.
However, I haven't driven into London for years. Is there plenty/any evening street side parking near there? Is it all metered?
Any info welcomed.

Looking to book next years holiday! I want a great beach for the kids in a small, family-orientated resort. can anyone suggest somewhere?
