Forget the last one as well, the nearest hospital with A+E
facility is the :University college hospital, in euston road, NW1.

Come out the station, turn right west bound onto the euston road, walk up on the left side for about three quarters of a mile and you will see the new hospital directly opposite Euston square station, at the junction with Gower street.

Literally next door. Do not waste your time walking to the taxi rank - you could get to the other station in the same time! Notwithstanding this, allow at least 20 minutes to effect the interchange.

Don't know if there is a nearer one, but Hammersmith Hospital is less than six miles away.
*edit*
There is also The Royal National Ear Throat and Nose Hospital, which is only about 400yds from King's X.

Forget the last answer, it's 'The Whittington Hospital', in Islington (N19). It's about 2 miles away from Kings Cross. Nearest tube stop is Archway (Northern Line), turn left on exit, up the hill and you can't miss it..........
