If you follow the A40 in and then turn down Upper Regents Street it is normally easy to find a park. Follow Harley Street down to Cavendish Square and if you cannot find parking on street there is an NPC there. Which is only a block from Oxford Circus. The only thing is that most roads are one way in this area, so you need to wind around a bit. Do not drive south of Oxford Street as there is very limited parking, especially in Soho which is all either double yellows or residents parking, 24 hours.

Leave the car at home. Parking in central London is a complete nightmare, and a stressful way to start your evening. Find another alternative. If you really need to drive, it would be easier to take the exit off the A40 at Edgeware road and find a place to park, you can either take a taxi or a bus, it's only a short journey. Another alternative is to use a car park, but these are almost prohibitively expensive.

Its going to be very difficult to park on the street in central London even on a Thursday evening - see http://www.westminster.gov.uk/transportandstreets/parking/masterpark/carparks.cfm for a list of car parks. Most of these will offer good deals after 6pm and several take part in the Theatreland scheme - see http://www.westminster.gov.uk/transportandstreets/parking/masterpark/theatreland.cfm
I would advise parking a bit further out near to where the A40 ends - somewhere like Notting Hill, Holland Park or even Kilburn and then getting the tube in - in these areas you should be fine to park on residential roads near to the tube station.

i could say this is extremely unsafe. A 50cc scooter is extremely mild and is extremely common for somebody to equipment into the back of a lorry. there replaced right into a very sturdy article on it on final month's situation of experience. rather they found that most of the motorcycles on the industry could properly be stolen definitely. Get the heaviest chain and padlock you could, make effective it wrapped around the front wheel and front forks and is secured to something significant. and make effective the padlock isn't mendacity on the floor as this is extra in possibility of being hit with a hammer. issues like brake locks are effective, yet do no longer use them on their own. One popular trick is to take some scaffolding posts, stick them by using the wheels and carry the bike right into a waiting van. in case you're making it annoying for thieves then they're going to pass onto an much less complicated objective so the extra significant your protection, the fewer in all risk this is for a thief to attempt and crack it. maximum motorcycles have little or no protection so they be responsive to they are able to looking much less complicated objectives

Take a taxi or the tube from somewhere that you can easily, and relatively cheaply, park the car.
Personally I would, if in a few miles of the centre, take public transport all the way and be able to have a pint (or three!) before returning SAFELY "home".

not any more since the terrorist attacks, so leave the car at home and use the train or bus. the inconvenience is worth it considering your car may be blown up in a controlled explosion by the police!
