I'm going to Scotland in September to study for a year. I'm arriving in Glasgow via Dublin and have heard that this can be problematic as immigration officers aren't usually present in Dublin to stamp passports. My question is, if I already have entry clearance prior to traveling but don't get some sort of stamp upon entering the UK, am I going to be booted out after 3 months?

Keep your records of your tickets and arrival. This might actually work out in your favor if you remain unnoticed. Good luck!
