I need to board a cruise at 4pm in Civitaveccia and need to know the various options available to go there from Rome. If anybody has an idea of prices, that information would be appreciated. Thanks!

We have a few ideas around seeing Pompeii, boat trips, Ischia, etc but what would be really great is if anyone know of any places that do nice package day trips, for example in a limo to Pompeii then a boat trip to Positano landing back at Sorrento....?

Anyone know of any websites that offer different packages? we have to be back late afternoon as we have a celebration meal booked for the evening.

I am walking around the city, so I am trying to find less famous attractions that will be open in August and are fairly central. Also, if you could recommend any good, cheapish restaurants, that would be great! Thanks!

I'm going tomorrow, and I have a list of the most famous places, but do you know any less well known but great attractions in the center of Rome? Also, are there any cheaper restaurants you recommend?

I know this isn't really a question, but I'd just like to compliment you Italians. I've traveled to many places in the world and I love your country best (next to my own of course). The Italians that I met just seemed so friendly and seemed like they would bend over backwards to help you. And everything is just so beautiful....beauty is everywhere, in the buildings, artwork, landscape and the people. lol, do you think I like it there much?

I know thats a big generaliztation and that there is rude people everywhere, but usually there is more in one area than in the other. For example, in the USA the south is typically more laid back and "howdy ya'll" kinda feeling. So, what are some of the more laid back cities in Italy? Thanks!

It's my first time to Europe and I need to pick two cities from the above. I'm in my late twenties and travelling on somewhat of a budget. I'm doing my research and trying to pick two cities with plenty of contemporary culture to see. I'm not that into old ruins and castles.
