i am an American living in Europe. I have been to many of the countries and every time i go to a store ( even if i attempt the language and blend in) the cashier, etc. seem rude. I know that customer service is valued more in USA but why wouldnt europeans want to have great customer service so they could have more business?

Going to be in Europe (Austria to start), where would you recommend taking a train to?

Or possibly a plane fare if its cheap enough. I'm going to visit my friend who's doing study abroad during Christmas break, from mid december to mid january.

I'm not looking for 'club scenes' or any of that, just cool places, relaxing places, amazing places, cultural places.

Which is the cheapest country to visit in Europe?

I live in the Philippines and plan to travel to Europe next year; I need to know which would be the best country to visit on a shoe string budget. Oh, and it would help if they're not so strict with issuing the tourist Visa too!

Is it true that Russia/Ukraine is racist? I may be visiting either area soon and I'm bi-racial (I look latina but I'm half black half white). I know Russian...maybe that'll help me get along with the people? I'm from the USA and don't encounter much racism bbut I've never traveled so far before.

HELP....legalization office for translation??!!!?

hi i am prepairing to travel in few months, but i need to have translated copies of my criminal record and passport copy to get them legalized..
does anyone know where that office is?
i already will legalize it from foriegn affairs office.. but where to get an accepted translation by them?!
