I'm afraid you'll miss the best of Northern Europe if you go in the winter. There's a reason for "high season" - it is when the countries are at their best! If you visit France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany...Or The British Isles (Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales) in February, you'd better pack your parka & umbrella!

The weather is lousy in Europe in Febuary... just like most of America. There is really nowhere that is warm, and it rains alot and is very dreary in many of the major cities. The best time of year for weather is May or June, or Sept. Not too hot, alot of sun.. but that is peak season of course so the prices are up. Weather and prices are always a trade off for most places. When the weather is the worst, the prices are the best, and vice versa....but you will still probably have a nice honeymoon.
