Weymouth in Dorset is gorgeous, and still has plenty to do when the summer season ends, Dorchester is just up the road (Thomas Hardy Country) and they have a market on every wednesday and it's a big one....The hotels & guest houses here are fabulous and very very friendly, if you email me I can recommend some lovely places to stay, if you let me know what you want i.e big hotel or guest house.

Try The Witchery in Edinburgh for a fantastically romantic experience. Buried in the walls of the Castle it's the most amazing hotel I've ever stayed in and they treat you like royalty. Beautiful city, fantastic shopping and the hotel has a completely candlelit restaurant for that special romantic meal.
