I live in the Philippines and plan to travel to Europe next year; I need to know which would be the best country to visit on a shoe string budget. Oh, and it would help if they're not so strict with issuing the tourist Visa too!

Czech Republic hands down. When I was in Prague, beer was about 50 cents, and room and board was also amazingly cheap. It was also one the most interesting places in Europe I visited as well.

Romania it's cheap and beautiful! Search on the web for Dracula's Castle or the Danube Delta to see what i mean!

All of europe can be cheap if you stay in hostels and do ALL the planning yourself. www.virtualtourist.com is a great place to start searching

Amsterdam, anythings legal there, i dont know if its the cheapest but id like to go there id also like to go to paris, but that is not cheap!!!!!!!
