Depends on your interests and heritage. For me, I'd choose Dublin. I've been there before. You get to see so much history if thats what you're there for. If you're there for the party, Well, ITS IRELAND.....PUBS galore...music., dancing., fun. In Paris the people are stuck up and look down upon foreigners. (And you probably don't speak the language). In Ireland., they speak English, it's beautiful, less expensive, I'd recommend Ireland to anyone!

Paris is my fav. Not that much more expensive than dublin considering what you get. The whole city itself looks like a museum- it's so beautiful!

Dublin for me was like visiting the 1980's.....It was beautiful though and i'm irish

Paris - PARIS !

Lots to see - lots to do (or you can do nothing and still have fun) - great food - entertainment - markets - river cruises - sunshine - cheap travel throughout the city - great 'starting' place for travel further afield (jump on the TGV).

There is something for everyone, from the romantic to the recluse, from the connoisseur to the gourmand to the 'peasant'.

HAVE A GREAT TIME - it's not expensive if you go where the locals go.

For the money, put your bets on Ireland. For a greater international flavor, do them both.
