Bonjour. Most Australians think of Europeans in stereotypes, e.g. the moustachiod Frenchman in the striped shirt and beret, the efficient and humourless German, and so on. My daughter toured Europe recently and loved it, except for Italy, where she found the people to be rude and dirty, and where she got robbed. But that's just one person's experience. She also found Europe to be very expensive, and she ran out of money more quickly than she expected.

I think most people in Australia have a fondness with Europe given that the vast majority of us have our roots there.

Many Australians make Europe their first point of destination when travelling overseas.

Au revoir!
