Bahamas

My family and I visited Paradise Island in the Bahamas several years ago and stayed at the Comfort Suites which is right next to Atlantis and you're allowed full access to everything at the Atlantis. We plan on returning next spring and were considering staying at Atlantis. The Atlantis rooms are more obviously more expensive. Has anyone stayed there? Is it worth it to actually stay at Atlantis (convenience, room quality, etc.) or should we save our money and book at the Comfort Suites again?

#1. Has anybody out there ever eaten at the Poop Deck at Sandy port? What was the atmosphere like? Did it have nice ocean views? what was your experience like?

My bf already booked a flight to the Bahamas from LA as well as the room. He travels a lot for business so he's already accumulated a lot of miles and free hotel stays. He makes close to 40k more than i do...and i am more than 10 years younger than him. i dont know if i should offer him couple hundred dollars to help pay for some things or if i should just pay for some stuff as we go along. How much should i spend by the end of the trip? The trip is to last six days~ (we are pretty serious about this relationship...future is definitely a possibility)

atlantis bahamas
we have 6 people total but all the hotels say the maximum is 4. so what do you suggest we do.

How prevalent is this and what can I do to avoid this? Should I call the hotel and have them spray the rooms before we check in? How would I know that they'd done it? We're invited to a wedding there at the end of June and I am starting to get pretty scared about roaches - a friend told me about how there was a roach in their bed (that was like 3 inches long) - at one of those nice 'all-inclusive' resorts... I just book a Cruise at Orbitz.com aboard the Disney Wonder for 4 nights to the Bahamas. Our room is a Category 7, Navigator's Verandah w/ Balcony. There are 3 of us, the total dollar value is $3422.03. Is this too much? Could I get something cheaper with another web site or maybe somewhere else?
