I just book a Cruise at Orbitz.com aboard the Disney Wonder for 4 nights to the Bahamas. Our room is a Category 7, Navigator's Verandah w/ Balcony. There are 3 of us, the total dollar value is $3422.03. Is this too much? Could I get something cheaper with another web site or maybe somewhere else?

That price does seem a little high. About $1000, I'm not sure what you all have included, if this includes air it may be right. I'm going based on some of the info in your other questions i.e. September, age of your child, etc.

I don't really suggest using sites like Orbitz, Travelocity, Expedia, etc. for booking cruises, or really for any vacation. They tend to have more problems and mistakes than anything and then when you try to contact them it can be a big hassle. They just don't provide good customer service. Basically, you book the trip with them and that is it, they aren't really much use if you have questions or problems.

I would say you that more than likely you are going to get a better rate with a travel agent. Also, you could then ask them questions, they could arrange pre or post nights, transfers, etc. Whereas Orbitz is pretty much going to do nothing for you at this point. Generally, a travel agent is going to offer a lower rate and/or onboard credit, along with the service, knowlege, etc. that they will provide.

I would definitely look into booking with a travel agent or even booking directly with Disney. I've read so many problems people have had booking with these sites, getting the wrong cateogory, the wrong date, other information being incorrect, so I would try to avoid them, if I could.

Disney does run a little higher than some of the other cruise lines, but most people that have been on Disney and other lines will agree that it is worth the extra cost. I go on Disney and I don't even have kids, it is just a great line for every age. I think you will love it.

Hope this helps!

As a cruise agent I relatively propose which you flow your cruise to a return and forth agent that has executed the Disney "college of awareness". making use of a return and forth agent does not value to any extent further then reserving direct and you wind up saving funds via getting the certainty from a professional that has been proper knowledgeable. not an order taker. yet right here on your own you're 2nd guessing your purchase. additionally you have a stay individual to touch if some thing is going incorrect, not an extension. without a return and forth agent, you're on your own.

That's a good price for Disney. I've been on the Wonder - great ship. We had a large suite w/balcony. You will also gets some extra perks with that Navator Room. A free snack will be delivered to your room every night, a private lounge one night with free drinks and robes and slippers!! Have fun - tell Mickey HI for me!!!

It depends when you are going! You can always call a Travel Agencie and compare prices with you! Every month prices change! And when it gets warmer, the prices are higher, expecially the summer!
I hope you have a great time!!!
