Nope no visa is needed, only a valid passport. However, most flights to the Bahamas originate in the USA. So if your from a country that needs a visa to visit the US, then you will need to get a US visa even though your main destination is Bahamas.

No you will not need a US visa to travel to the Bahamas, but you will need passport as it is now being enforced. If you are a crusie passenger there is still a window that allows you to travel on proper identification. Depending on what hotel you are staying at, they can reinburst you for getting a passport to come to the Bahamas if you have never had one before. Check it up on your hotel's website. You will need a passport as of this year. You should hurry ad apply depending on how soon your trip is. Regular passport processing takes up to 12 weeks and expedited takes up to 8 weeks. Check out the site.
