Any info would be great, as my intentions are to be living there with in 6 months . links to rental units , what the winters are like there keep in mind I currently live in Canada, night life, car insuarance rates, beaches, livable wage there, are people easy to meet there, male to female ratio,is it easy to commute by transit, anything to help me make my choice a more enjoyable expeirence. I'm 31 yrs. old single male would like to be close to the beach, 20 mins or closer (would love to be able to see the water if possible from where I would live) Close to the bar scene, and could you give me what you would rate living in Melbourne from 1 to 10 compaired to living elsewere in Australia and why?If you think It better to live elsewhere in Australia please state where and why... thanks so much

I am thinking about living in Australia, but not sure where.

I have visited Cairns and loved it there, Sydney and Melbourne

Whats it like living in these places and what are the benefits and problems about the areas?

I am trying to track someone down and all I know is that they live either in or close to Botany, NSW, Australia. I thought that if I could obtain a web site address for the local telephone co, I could search their records. Any help would be appreciated

Husband, I and three kids are moving to the GC in March 2007, from the Northern Suburbs of Perth. We would like to have a laid back beach type lifestyle, and live within 10k from the beach. We are only able to afford $350K for a 4x2 house. Is it nicer to live halfway between Brizzy and GC. We were thinking of the Sunshine Coast but I really feel it will be too hot for us there. We are ok in 35 degrees with humidity, and 40 without humidity. Anything over that and we won't cope very well. Thank you to those who answer.

I'm 25 and I currently have a good job, but I'm seriously considering taking 2007 out and travelling around Australia for a year or two. Has anyone else been in the same position and had regrets for not going. Or has it turned out to be a bad idea and wish you never left.
