About 1 hour from Surfers by car, you'll make it there & back easy in 1 day. For sure there'll be some kind of 1day bus trip if you ask a tourist agency, or your hotel. If you like the laid-back hippy style, you'll love it!!

I would say about 1 1/1 hour drive would take you from the Gold Coast to Byron Bay.

very short distance a bit over an hour by car. But there are many tours that go that way and i think if you cant drive a car that is the best way to go.
