My flights to Australia aren't booked yet so I was wondering if you can still get your visa before you've booked you're flights. I would hate to book my flights first and then get turned down for a visa.

Hi, I'm the producer of 'The Great Outdoors' website - Watch the TV show 7.30pm Mondays on Channel 7. Recently, we had a story on motorhomes. Have you been to any interesting places that would be perfect for a 'Great Aussie Road Trip'? Tell us where we should go and why.

I have professional Health and Safety Qualification and Man Management skills as well as IT literate. Married but no dependant kids. Relatives (cousins) already out there since the 70's. Have about £150k in assetts. Will any of this help me - Straight forward, easy to understand advice required.

I grew up in SA and always had it......I live in Perth now and sometimes think it would be so great here, with the balmy nights. All that crap about the cows being stressed out and people getting sunburned (Beattie you idiot), I think people are afraid of change.

I'd like to make use of skills in the outdoors and such. Not so much manual labor. I've worked as a bartender and am from the US. How hard is it to work legally?? Or is it a real issue to work illegally??

When you think about how many Australian backpackers there are relative to the population of Australia, you would think that there would be far more Americans than Aussies since the population of the US is 15x Australia’s, but Australians seem to be far more common.

Is there something in Australian culture that makes people want to travel? And conversely is there something in American culture that keeps people from traveling?

my gf has an abusive stepdad that is totally violent towards her, she's comming here (to tassie) end of December though he dont want her to, she turns 17 next month and as far as I know the law has no legal recourse to stop her (by her stepdad and mum)....

she told me last night that she almost jumped off the Fremantle Bridge (perth WA) because she'd simply had enough, I love her with every part of me and always will but I dont want her to get physically beaten before comming here........hence I worry ALOT, I have already contacted a police officer that I personally know but am looking for some general ideas, short of flying to Perth and kicking his **** what can I do???

I need help here to help her, please give genuine advice only..

thanks in advance,

Mitch

Laura Batchelor,
if so does anyone have any dirt on her for me to pay her out with, I'm her partner so it'll all be in good fun.....

I just want anything that people know about her, anything that I dont already...oh and she lives in Perth western australia so if only aussies can answer that'd be great, but she's british by birth so any brits that may've known her or her mum June can also answer...

thanks and remember its all in good fun and not designed to hurt her in anyway...

Mitch
