I'm going to uni next year to do Nursing for three years then I'll be contracted to work in the hospital for 3-5 years.
After that I want to move to Japan. Do I have to retrain when I get there? Or is it best to take a course in Japanese there and train there?
And how would I go about getting a job over there and moving on my own?
Moving to Japan has always been a huge ambition of mine but I don't really know how I would go about doing it.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

I've always thought it was weird that the japanese are always presented as loving americans. We blew up two entire cities! I understand that the younger generation may like us or our way of life, but what about the older nihonjin? Are there many old racist japanese who fought in the war and go around muttering about gaijin ideas taking over?

While reading a travel journal, the author makes a comment about the Temples being closed in November. Is this a correct statement?

Ok, I'm flying to Japan on November 15th, will arrive late on the 16th, I will have a short term apartment in Tokyo for a month. I will also have a 21 day rail pass, I am planning on exploring tokyo a bit, and exploring the rest of the country until my rail pass expires, I want to see the hokkaido area, as well as Osaka and Kyoto, The other must do thing I have to do is to visit the Ghibli Museum, anything else that I *must* do?

I will fly to Nagoya and then visit Takayama this December. As the rail journey takes about 4 hours from Nagoya International Airport to Takayama, I intend to break the journey into two sectons. This means I will stop over somewhere between these two places. Any suggestion for 1-2 days' stay between Nagoya and Takayama?

Is is really true that it is cheaper to get JR rail pass in Canada than in Japan? How much is the difference in my case? Thanks!

I am moving to Japan at the end of the year and I am debating weither or not I should ship my favorite vehicle. I'm allowed to ship one vehicle for free. In Japan are the steering wheels on the left (like in America) or right (like in Europe) side of the vehicle? Thanks so very much!
