i'm having problem planning a 5 days 4 nights free n easy trip to hong kong. HAve make plans to stay ard kowloon area. But have no idea of how i should plan my trip. Wanted a trip whereby it's not rush and yet i can cover alot of places in this short 5 days.

Hey, does anyone know the costs of living as a traveller in various areas of China. Such things as accomodation, food, travelling costs as a comparison. I've looked for a breakdown in US Dollars but am unable to find anything. Also, my partner and I are interested in working in China but wanted to know how the work schemes are implimented.

Thanx a lot to everyone who replied. I actually found a website that provided information of a person who rents out a place to stay at the great wall. This is at the Jianshingling and Simatai section of the wall. So i will not be sleeping in the open (but i do agree that it will still be very cold). I just wanted to know if it would be bearable if i was prepared or could i just freeze to near death :):):)

It was on a holiday program, it was beautiful nature with all valleys and waterfalls.
It is popular with domestic chineese travellers but no so popular with outsiders yet.
it may have had an X in the name andcould have been chinesefor 7 valleys or something like that.
