Japan's Military is a defensive force and not offensive. Meaning, they have no long range bombers or anything like that. its a part of the surrender treaty from WWII. They started talk about making changes to the Constitution since North Korea got ...North korean and launched missles right over the country. But thats finished. Offensive maneuvers are handled by the US military based there. All branches of the US military are based there. Should we be worried? probably not since China is the big dog in Asia and I personally think if I were Taiwanese, I would be worried about China and the rest of Asia should be worried about a 160cm crazy nut in North Korea.

The real question is, is Japan worried that China is now expanding its military?

Plus, like someone said before me, Japan's military is strictly for self-defense. They wouldn't dare invade now that they're America and the EU's lapdog.

And if they did, they've got no chance of winning.

not particularily. so is everybody else to a much greater and less open degree. thats much more worrying than Japan doing some catching up to protect itself openly and plainly.
