when even in america, affirmative action is for the minorities.
thats the logic behind affirmative action. to give minority people a fighting chance. yet in malaysia, it's the majority people that get this preferential treatment. i find that very strange and unfair, visiting that region, i still think singapore is the best.

I am going on a trip to Tokyo, Japan in March for a week vacation. I've been learning to speak Japanese since November and know some phrases but my literacy is not so good. Will I need a translator to make it around or will I be just fine?

...when I was president---oh, i mean, when my beloved Ferdie was president of Philippines? Of course, you do! Those were the glory days of our Republic. I danced and sang and shopped for all of you little island people to see, hear, and admire. Class---I brought a sense of class for the masses of the Philippines to follow and emulate to this day.

Don't you wish to relive those days with moi? I know you do.

Hi there,

I currently have mapking GPS software on my phone(HTC TyTN) which is a windows mobile 5 phone and I use a bluetooth GPS receiver. I switch back and fourth between the Mapking and Malsing maps. I find the mapking software to be a bit quirky on my phone and the malsing maps aren't terribly accurate sometimes(as far as calibrations to GPS coordinates).

My question is, is there any other gps nav software for PDAs, or a relatively inexpensive(less than 2000RM) gps nav system(like garmin maybe?) for Malaysia?

Thanks a bunch.

I'm on the 12:10am flight out of SFO tonight and will be in KL Friday afternoon woohooo!!

if so, can you live on them, and where to start looking

I know it seems silly, kind of a dumb question, because if someone new about them they would be charted on a map somewhere.

I am just looking for a place to be able to see for myself what it would be like to live on my own on an island.

That is if I manage to get through eight consecutive years of army duty.

Hi there! I'll be staying at Bacoor for 4 days and I searched websites but couldn't find any hotels or pension houses. Are there any which you can recommend? I prefer it to be near a mall and quite cheap. Thanks!
