which place would you rather go? i wanna go to hong kong! :) there's no graffitts and people are nice there, compared to the people in taiwan. what about you!?

I've been to both and lived in Hong Kong. As an American speaking English (if that is you) I really think Hong Kong would be a better bet.
Hong Kong is a great gateway to Asia, and it is pretty easy to get by as an American when you get the inevitable homesickness. You'll find a lot of American products and foods in the stores and American tv on the television. You'll also find a pretty close knit group of expats who are all '6000 miles from home and trying to make sense of things together'. It's a nice environment.
On the down side, the pollution in HK is getting worse (very hazy days) and at times you get a bit claustrophobic as the island is only so big. And yes there is grafitti in HK if you know where to look...

I've been to both Hong Kong and Taiwan. I would choose Hong Kong over going to Taiwan. There's a lot more to do in Hong Kong and a lot easier to get around than it is in Taiwan.

Hong Kong by a mile, HK is one of the best tourist destinations in the world, I've been there dozens of times and always look forward to returning. I've been to Taiwan once, and although I liked it there, I have no desire to return anytime soon. There's just so much to do and see in Hong Kong, the beauty, the food and shopping are amongst the best in the world, plus English is more widely spoken if you don't speak Mandarin or Cantonese

Hong Kong because it offers the best of both worlds. Culture and of course modern technology.... and DISNEYLAND! It is suppose to be the best Disneyland theme park out of all of them. Also most Hong Kong folk can speak English. I think In Taiwan it would be very different.

I have been to Taiwan, and even though I would like to visit it again, I also want to visit Hong Kong because i have never been there yet.

Hong Kong is in China so why wouldn't I go back to my home country? Only if I weren't afraid of flying.

Well i've been to hongkong. Hongkong is a great place its like in a small city every thing is theres bazaar great food places to go withing a few minutes not like taiwan its a big place ang traveling will cost you your time and energy. Hongkong is a city where everything is there. hope it helps.
