I am planing a trip from Newark, New Jersey to Honolulu. It is a 10 and a half hour flight. I have a five year old and am worried he will get bored and get cranky. Any tips on how to keep him busy.

Be specific. I want city names...not countries. Oh and please let me know why you wouldn't want to be there right now.

After a long flight, I like to try and get the blood flowing again by hopping over my fellow passengers and running down the aisle, and flying so much can get boring...I want to liven things up!

If this does happen, should I be scared or not? What will they do to me if it does go off?

...and you agreed to switch, but this person suddenly caught a bad case of diarrhea, forgot to drink some of the pink medicine, and kept having to step over you when he excused himself to the restroom?

It has not happened to me yet, but I would certainly consider having demanding that I have my seat back after he excused himself for the sixth or seventh time! I was just making sure that I am not alone here with this opinon.

...would she tell the pilot to turn the plane around for you so that you can turn it off?

What if you also informed the air hostess that she was very pretty (as a compliment in hopes of buttering her up enought to consider helping you)?

In my opinion, Northwest is the worst. Their customer "service" is extremely unhelpful and often rude, they lose luggage, they treat the customer like cattle, and they look for all sorts of ways to nickle and dime you once you've booked. The latest is charging $15 to choose your seat! After my last experience where they tried to keep $700 of my money, I will never fly with them again. So, are there any good or at least better domestic airlines?
