I am flying and want to take my GameCube to play when I get there. Should I put it in my check back or should I carry it on? I obviously don't want it to be taken at the security check point, but I also don't want to hold up the line while they check to see if it works. If I put it in my check bag, will it be safe there?

I think Good Morn'n America featured the site w/in last couple of yrs. Someone actually sat in every seat of all the airlines and noted leg room, if the seat was too upright, etc.

Mom put a future flight on her credit card, then the Dr. found her cancer was back-aggressively. She is in hospice care, so medicated she cant sit up. Have been trying to undo this flight for three weeks, been bounced to SEVEN diferent phone numbers, where nobody can help. Actually got a response from the email web site "refunds" person, who wanted a letter from her Dr. faxed. We did. Hospice did. No response.
We are running out of time and any suggestions welcome.
This airline has given me and my family one of the worst customer service experiences I can remember.

Hi-

I just wanted some ideas as to what people put in their carry on bags for international flights. (4-5 hour flight)

Thanks so much!

Have you ever been on a flight where you witnessed another passenger display "air rage" towards a flight attendant or another passenger?

If you were on a plane and it was being hijacked, what would you do? Let's assume there are several hijackers and no air marshals onboard. The plane has changed course, but you have no idea where it is headed. Everything is fine on the ground (ie. not like Sept. 11th), but these guys appear ready to kill the first thing that moves. They don't have guns, but have some form of weapon.
I'm just curious. I don't know how I'd respond. It would probably depend on the mood of the passengers and if I had some friends with "can openers" (to open some cans of whoop ***).

I've worn belts with metal, all of my mum's metallic necklaces at one time (and that's like 20 of them), and many other metallic things just to see what the threshold is for the metal detectors, and I've never been wanded for as much as I travel. I've even flown when I had a mouthfull of metal (braces) when I was younger... I've just been very unlucky. What are some more metallic things that I could wear that are legal? I just love embarassing myself in front of a bunch of people that I will never see again and keeping the airport security on their toes!

...can I feign having difficulties getting them back on, laced up, etc. and beg for help from the security? Or should I put something dreadfully stinky (like moldy bread or something) in my shoes so that when I have to take them off, they'll have to deal with an offensive odor?

(I know most airports don't require this anymore...they have something you can put your feet on without having to take them off, and many of them don't even do this, but I'm asking just in case.)

If I act like I'm sleeping during the flight, perhaps she will be too kind to wake me up, and then she'll have to step over my feet each time she wanders past. Muah ha ha...wouldn't it serve her right for refusing my demand for tranquilizers?

I'm not afraid to fly...quite the contrary, but I've flown so many times that it gets boring. I can think of two things that are better to do on long flights: hit on the air hostess or sleep....and if the air hostess isn't attractive, I'd like the extra help in falling asleep and staying asleep...darn turbulence always wakes me up!
