I recently read an article about the naked x-ray machines they want to put into airports and it disghust me beyond compare. Firstly how is a saved naked picture of you or your loved ones better than a less than thurough pat down? And yes someone will abuse this technology because the TSA is an inept organization that hires more high school kids than almost anyone else. Why is everyone so scared? You are more likely to be killed by a falling coconut than a terrorist let alone on an airplane. No intelligent terrorist is going to try anything else on a plane. Beside insnt airline travel shitty enough already with having someone see you nude. I actually feel less safe on airplanes since 9/11 because the TSA is so imcometent it is astounding. And all you people who say your safety is more important than my provacy are screwing the rest of us. It is you who allowed things like the patriot act. Those are rights we will never get back. Give up your rights but dont fck with mine and get a spine

We're trying to fly to London to go to the Future of Web Apps Conference on February 20-22 and are trying save as much money as possible. Any advice on what the cheapest way would be to get there? For instance, would it be cheaper to fly somewhere else and ride a train to London?

My 7 month old is preparing to fly to his uncles wedding in Key west. So we'll be on a puddle jumper too. I'd love to know any tricks on getting an extra seat or any savvy advice. I've heard about benedryl and would prefer not to use it. Any other must knows?

This summer, I'm flying on a trip with Delta Air Lines. I already chose seats, but I'm having second thoughts.
DL 337 (July 23), LGA-ATL, B757-200, seat 28C
DL 244 (July 23), ATL-SJO, B757-200, seat 33D
DL 305 (August 9), PTY-ATL, B767-300, seat 27C
DL 302 (August 9), ATL-LGA, MD-88, seat 26C
I'm especially concerned about DL 305, as many websites state that this bulkhead row is not great.
I would like to know if these seats are good choices. If you think I'm making a mistake, please let me know, but also tell me where you think I should sit, or where you would sit. I would include links to the seatmaps for these flights, but they'll expire soon enough. However, you can go to Delta's website, and look for yourself (I'd really appreciate this). Also, you may want to check out SeatGuru; they have seat maps with seat ratings and information.
This February, I'm taking another trip with Delta, so I'll get miles, and perhaps more seat options. Any information would be helpful.
Thanks!

I am flying to Poland in April and wanted to know how long the flight would be (it seems most stop over in Frankfurt, Germany).
Also, my husband, as much as he would like to see Europe is TERRORFIED of flying.
He has flown twice as an adult -- under 1 hour trips both times. I flew with him one of those times and he was so tense it made me nervous (and my father is a pilot, I've flown a plane myself and am a frequent passenger).
Is there anything that could keep him calm for such a long flight? I would like him to be able to enjoy Europe, but not if it means X hours of torture.

About 3 years ago I flew a 777 on Delta from Atlanta to Amsterdam. I can't find the same flight. The 777 was very roomy and very smooth, so I would like to fly in it again. It was like being in a very large living room. If anyone knows what Delta does with their 8 777's i would appreciate info. Thanks!
