Can i use a prepaid visa card that you get at the corner stores to purchase an airline ticket online?

Prepaid cards will not work, must be attached to an account holder with a valid social security number so the government can make sure you aren't a terrorist :)

Those prepaids are usually not accepted because they cannot be traced to an individual. They are just temporary. You need a valid card that is the purchaser's name that has a verifiable account linked to it.
