Yes. However, these tickets are considerably more expensive than non-refundable tickets. I get them a lot for work because trials sometimes last longer than expected. Then I can change without penalties or get a refund if I have to take another form of transportation back.

For an economy flight, you normally can't get a refund - although you might be able to exchange the unused portion of the ticket for an alternative flight by paying a fee (about $75).

The only types of tickets which are truly refundable are business or first class tickets.

ABSOLUTELY NO -- You cannot receive a return for a half used ticket. You purchased a roundtrip ticket and the airline is expecting you to return - and are holding a seat for you, which they cannot sell to another passengers.

Also, if you purchased a roundtrip ticket and only used half, the airline reserves the right to contact you and ask you to pay the difference between the roundtrip fare you purchased and the one-way fare - which is more expensive.

If they were purchased online, more than likely no. If you purchased them at the airport then possibly. Every airline is different and it would be best to call the airline and find out.
