Why do you think that is? Is it because curling is the most boring waste of a not video game on the planet?

I'm a huge ski-ing fanatic, but I don't want to have a hole the size of Brazil in my bank balance. I have all my own gear including skis, boots etc. Any tips to finding cheap deals in a good resort?

I am planning a ski vacation this winter and I chose the state of vermont to be my destination. I need some advice though about which resort and when in the season. I went to Magic Mountain last year in the middle of a snow storm and I thought i was in heaven. This year im not so sure i'll be timing a snow storm so well so i may as well plan a little more.

Specifically I am looking for maximum vertical drop. Vertical feet would also help.

I've already got a huge list of vertical feet thanks to verticalfeet.com

But I want to compare these mountains to those in Europe and more importantly, the Southern Hemisphere.

I want to know: what are the top mountains in these categories, and what are their numbers?

I am buying a new board this season and are considering Flow bindings. Does anyone have any experience with these binding? I plan on spending most of my time on this board in the park and pipe but will probably go all over the mountain.

Snowboard boots look cool as hell but ive never tried any on before and looking at them i can see theyre made with the leg part built leaning foward. i just wanted to knowif they can be worn for everyday style; like is that leg part pretty stiff or are those boots flexible enough to to stand erect in?

I like the Oakley A-Frame but I was wondering if there is any other good choices? Also, they need to be helmet compatible.
