I am buying a new board this season and are considering Flow bindings. Does anyone have any experience with these binding? I plan on spending most of my time on this board in the park and pipe but will probably go all over the mountain.

Flow is a very good binding for a lot of people. In my experiance try and go as high-end as you can as the lower end bindings tend to not offer the support and response you will need for freestyle riding. I personnally do not like Flow bindings for the simple reason I could never get the strap tight enough. They are very comfortable and very easy to use and I know a lot of people who like them. They just aren't for me as I like a very tight, responsive interface with my board.

And, to disagree with the previous poster, don't choose to not get bindings from a company like Burton because "everyone has them." There is a reason why Burton sells more bindings than anyone else. But that still isn't a good reason to buy them. You need to check everything out for yourself. Bindings are important, almost as important as your boots. Get the bindings that offer the comfort, support and performance you need. If this is from Flow, great...if it's from Burton, cool...it can be from any company as long as they work for you. The point is, get what YOU need.

Flow has stepped it up in the past three years on the bindings. Once known only for free riding, Flow has lightened up the over all weight considerably on the new bindings making them great in the park. With the full foot wrap you get great foot hold with out any pressure points. Easy to get in and out of and super comfy. Make sure to get a freestyle model though. The high back is lower allowing better movement. You will hear bad things about them because people are ignorant and are stuck in old mind sets. Don't be like every other dick out there and get burtons. Check em out.
