I went wakeboarding last year and I had trouble maintaining a good grip on the rope. I was able to get up, but as soon as the boat went faster, the handle slipped out of my hands. I bought better gloves, but I'm looking for advice on strengthening my grip or advice on holding on properly? I'm going again soon and I want to get up and stay up this time!!

Hey. I want to get into canoeing and kayaking. Unfortunately I don't have an SUV or truck, but Im thinking about getting a roof rack for a couple of kayaks for my 2003 Nissan Sentra. Any suggestions on what type to get...or where to get one? Thanks!

I never surfed but always longed to do so. Kelly Slater is my favorite surfer of all time for male, Lisa Anderson for female. I used to boogie board. What about you?

I know northeast Florida isnt exactly the best location to surf but for those of you who live there you know people still try. I've just gotten into surfing though and i was wondering when the best time to surf is. During high tide low, low tide, evening, morning?

I was on a thread and had a question answered from someone that was from Northern Ireland. I commented on their rivers over there, b/c I like to kayak and they said that there were "a lot of rivers, but they were short on Inuit:>)"

I couldn't get down to see the race so I thought it would be in the local paper. They talked about the British team crashing out but didn't actually mention who won!

I think the Yahoo people were not thinking hard enough when they named this category. How about Aqua Sports?

Water sports sounds...perverted.

I have friends who moved there and love it. I may go visit because I like what I see online. I have a 24-foot sailboat with 4'4" inch fixed keel draft that I sail on Belton Lake in Central Texas. It's a deep water lake and popular with the sailboat set. Anything remotely like that in close driving distance to McAllen with marinas for year-round dockage?
