im trying surfing on wednesday for about a week, i snowboard but i heard that surfing is like the same idea but exactly the opposite of boarding. ANYWAY for all u surfers out there, any suggestions or things i can do at home to get ready?

you just need to have a lot of determination. it's not something you learn in a week like snowboarding, so don't get frustrated. practice lying flat on the ground and popping to your feet as fast as you can and into your snowboarding stance. the stance you use for snowboarding will be similar to the stance you use for surfing.

i love 2 board. i surf, skim, wake, body, skate and snowboard, and if u snowboard it can def help. its dif tho, cause ur not strapped in and u gotta use ur body more 2 do stuff. its really fun so u should def try it. and if u can u should try bodyboarding, its not as hard as surfing and u get 2 do lots more tricks and flips lolz.
