Ok, the RANT forum I put on here was tremendous fun! Sounds like many of you got a lot off your chest and felt better about it.

Aaaaand exhale!

Now for another bit of fun...

I (and by I, I mean everyone here) want to hear about your most embarrassing court experience. Lay out there. Hey we're all friends here right?

I'll start...

In college I use to brag that no girl at the college could ever beat me. I know, I know...that's embarrassing enough. But wait...there's more.

I asked a young lady who I grew up with to play (I hadn't seen her in years). I won the first game on 4 aces! Man, I had this one in the bag!!

That was the last game I won. Final score- 1-6, 0-6.

Sad thing is that it wasn't even close! LMAO! I was lucky to win a stinkin' point! Later I found out she was ranked #1 in the state and 40th in the US! That would've been good to know BEFORE she fed me my crosstrainers!

An no, I've not made such a claim since!

Your turn. You have the floor...

I would like to know why so many people have a negative attitude towards Venus and Serena William.
I mean they are great tennis players so i don't see why so many people hate them. I've heard people accusing Serena of faking her injury during a match when they know perfectly well she was in pain.
On top of that people say they think they're the most important players on the court which i don't think is the case.
So what is the real reason for hating these two great tennis stars? Is it becuase they've won so many matches or what?

these days everybody focus on 2 players:federer and nadal.but they aren't the only 2 talented players i saw in past few years.
i first saw andy playing back in 2001 and i said to my self that this guy is very talented!since then i tried to follow his career and all i can say that he constanly improved his game.
then it was only his serve, forehand and, most of all, the desire to win.now he can hit a backhand not to mention that he is starting to look good at the net,he dare to make a volley.
all this should make him a real grand slam titles challenger!
the things i don't like at andy:
1.lack of flexibility in his strategy, and the most recent example is the wimbledon qf with gasquet when he didn't try anything to stop that fantastic backhand that gasquet used to humiliate him;
2.mental weekness.he can hit an ace when he need the most ,can win the game even from 0-40,but cannot keep the same level 'till the end.and what facing federer meens to him, no comment!

I just ordered a Prince O3 Silver Oversize racquet from www.dickssportinggoods.com yesteray. I found from the confirmation email that they made a mistake on the string tension. I asked for 50 lbs and they ordered 51 lbs. The string ordered was Wilson NXT tour 16 g. Can someone tell me if it matters. I called the custom service and was told that it could not be changed even it was their fault. I also found that this store has nothing to do with the Dick's Sport store. The web company just bought the name ot use it. Anyone knows if this is legal? Thanksl.

Ok, I know the possibility of this is astronomical but is there anyone else out there that would RELISH the opportunity to watch a US Open final (or ANY slam final for that matter) between Marcos Baghdatis and Novak Djokovic?! How fun and entertaining would THAT be?

Your thoughts?

After asking a few questions and reading lots of answers in the Tennis category, it's clear that many of us are annoyed by at least one thing in professional tennis. It could be the amount of attention Federer gets, Sharapova's on-court coaching, the Williams' sisters looks or the use of hawkeye, etc. Everyone has their gripe including me.

So here's your chance to be heard if for no other reason than the fun of it! So go ahead and RANT! Get it off your chest! Serve it up and lay into it and lets have fun reading the answers!

Please limit your answers to only ONE thing to rant about.

I'll start it off:
As big a tennis fan as I am and as attractive as Maria Sharapova and her legs may be, I can't watch her matches because of the stinking screaming she does! She and Venus both! I just turn the channel. Drives me up the freakin' wall! Stick a sock in it and just play the game for God's sake!

Well that felt good!

I consider her one of the first women to really inject power into the women's game. From January 1988 through January 1990, she reach 9 straight grand slam finals, winning 8 of them... the most dominant stretch in the history of the game. How do you think 'that' Steffi Graf have done against today's Williams sisters, Justine Henin, Maria Sharapova, et al.?

Everyone always pits Roger and Pete head to head. I'd like for you to weigh in on how each would fare against the other over time. If Roger and Pete competed together over their entire career, who would be regarded as the premier player.

Here's the foundation: Roger's shot variety seems better than Pete's. Pete had his serve and his forhand as weapons. It doesn't appear that a shot exists that Roger can't pull off. However, Pete would likely hold the edge in mental stamina. For instance, in the French and even to a lesser degree at Wimbledon this year, there were times that Roger had the look of defeat in his eyes and posture. You never saw that in Pete. So it can be asked, would Pete's superior mental game be enough to counter Roger's superior arsenal?
