Every in the club knew I damaged my right to a point where it can no be fixed. My right elbow makes bone to bone contact on hard shots so the bone will deteriate itself slowly and damage itself. The other day I was at the club and the manager approached me and told me to start playing with my left hand. I was like wtf I cant throw a ball with my left how can I learn to hit the ball just as hard accurately with my left. I mean can any of u play with ur opposite hand? He told me Rafael Nadal worlds number 2 I think is left handed and he learned to play with his left rather than being born with it. he said his uncle train him to play with his left in a year. Well not every1 is nadal and not every1 has an uncle to push them how will my coach react when he hears he will have to coach me by holding my hand? I mean from how I play now where I have a strong serve accurate forehand and a ripping back hand.

How long will it take and what are the ups and downs to it? is the Rafael nadal thing true? Please give me your whole input I don’t mind if you guys say no like my parents said claiming I will injure both my hands and I am not built to play sports I am 5’8 120 pounds.

I dont know if you have the money or not cause I sure dont but If you do you can get a very good teacher to help you use your left hand quickly. It is possible and you can practice by yourself but it would take more time but If you still want to go pro just get the instructur at a Tennis/Golf Club to help. Also they sell these machines to help make your grip better its like $20 and it helps alot cause it makes the grip stronger.

Good Luck and I hope you get better.

What you can do is go to a place with a high wall or even a racquetball court. Just use your left hand and keep on hitting to improve your shots. Also you could find a left-handed player and see how they hit and how they perform different types of shots.

Well, Nadal switched because he hit a better topspin ball with his left arm....But he made the switch at like 5-10 years old

I sprained my wrist a month ago. And while it was sprained i had to sue my left hand and only my left hand. Im a lot worse with it. But you just use one hand on the racket. nothing much to explain. Except now your the opposite way on the court. with left have your right shoulder face the net. and then your gonna have to practice a lot and then you'll get better.
