A. Lower string tensions will generally help your strings last longer unless they're so loose that that they shift every time you hit the ball.
Constant shifting makes the cross strings rub notches into the mains, which break at those notches.

B. Kevlar (the stuff bullet-proof vests are made of) is the most durable string material, often lasting many times longer than the average nylon or synthetic gut.

Hope this might helps...

Not enough information man. We need to know your play style, though it is likely it won't be accurate information, but it'd be a place to start, and we need to know how many times you play a week and for how long.

The combination, VERY GOOD, used by many pros. Nowadays Luxilon is used by every pro in at least a hybrid application, usually with natural gut.

If you use string savers, you can signifigantly increase the string life of your strings.

Also, since it is in a hybrid application with Luxilon, that will also signifigantly increase the string life. You might be able to last a month with it. I never tried natural gut since I don't want to risk wasting money. Anyway, I doubt it will break every other match, unless you are a serious hitter, in which case it should break every match, or everyday. In that case it doesn't matter what strings you use, it's going to be gone in a day anyway...

Approx. 80 USD or 40 pounds sounds like a big ripoff to me.....Those strings last long but remember it will lose tension as time passes by.
