Just listening to LBC, where a black man phoned in and told the presenter that snooker is a racist game because the white ball has to hit the colored balls. Is he okay?

Why does everyone thnk Ronnie is the best ever he hasn't won half the amout of world titles as Hendry or Davis and has never dominated like hendry did at his peak. Yet many people say he is a genius and the best ever.

okay, your lined up with the eightball and it is your last ball. You call corner pocket and you hit the eight ball in the hole, but before the eight ball goes in, it touches the side edge (rail) of the table. Does this shot still count if you make it, or do you have to call it as a bank shot beforehand?

I heard it was something like a pot where there's 6' between cue ball and object ball. What if the cue ball and object ball are close together, and the player sends the object ball into a pocket which is 6' away from the object ball? Does that count?

I realize that this scenario is highly unlikely, but it popped into my head today and I just wondered if anyone knew...

What would happen if, in the middle of a tournament match, one of the players miscued badly enough to damage the felt?

Would the game have to continue on the compromised table? Would that player automatically lose? Would the match have to be replayed from the start?

The residents at the assisted living facility have asked me to please try and track down a used pool table at either an extremely low cost, or maybe even one to be donated. These sweet elderly people have very little money left over after their rent is due, and I am only allowed $50 a month for my activities budget to keep them occupied. I'm running out of creative ideas here and would love to know how I might go about tracking a used pool table down in nashville, TN? I am guessing that I just need to call around to maybe bars, or country clubs and such. I have a feeling that I'm never going to find one to be donated because they are so very expensive. If only I were crafty enough to MAKE a pool table...lol...I could never figure out how to do that..ha. I would greatly appreciate any advice on the matter :)
